House rules

Editorial standards

Aesthetics copy in Singapore is loud. Our job is to stay quieter than the brochure and more useful than a forum thread.

Independence

We are not S Aesthetics Clinic, DTAP, or any successor brand that once used this domain. We do not take a booking fee. A clinic may buy a clearly labelled placement; it may not edit a reported sentence.

Medical limits

We describe categories of treatment the way a curious patient hears them in consultation rooms: lasers, peels, energy devices, injectables, aftercare. We do not tell you that you have melasma. We do not tell you which setting to use. We do not publish “results last 12 months” as a promise — only as a figure clinics commonly quote, with the caveat that bodies differ.

Sources

Prefer primary rules — Ministry of Health licensing language, Singapore Medical Council guidance, Dermatological Society of Singapore patient pages — over a clinic’s ranking page. Price bands are reported as observed ranges, not as our fee list.

Links

Navigational links on this site are ordinary <a href> links. Guest, gifted or paid links are marked rel="sponsored". That includes write-for-us pieces that mention a workplace. See guest guidelines.

Corrections

If a fact is wrong, email the desk. We correct in the article and note the date. A difference of taste is not a correction.

Images

Photographs are Creative Commons or public domain, self-hosted, and listed on the credits page. We do not use patient faces without a documented licence, and we do not fake a treatment room.
