1) Sunscreen

Sunscreen is undeniably one of the most important skin care essentials. UV ray from the sun causes sunburns, pigmentation, premature skin aging and leads to skin cancer. Basically, it damages your skin. A sunscreen with SPF no less than 30 and no more than 50 is good enough to protect you. Apart from applying sunscreen religiously and adequately, do not forget to practise other sun protective measures!


2) Exercise

Regular exercise is the key to healthy skin. It enhaces the blood circulation to your skin, therefore bringing more essential nutrients and hydration to your skin. Regular 30-minute exercise, 3 times a week, not only improves your health in general, but also makes your skin glow!


3) Food and Drink

What are what we eat. A balanced nutritional diet contributes to health skin. Food rich in vitamin C is good for your skin. Fatty food and food with high sugar content may adversely affect the quality of your skin. Adequate water intake is essential in keeping your skin well hydrated. Eat and drink healthily!


4) Sleep

Do not underestimate the power of sleep. Adequate sleep is important in keeping your skin healthy. Chronic lack of sleep causes skin to dry, sag, wrinkle and age quicker. Dark circles and eye bags start to appear. A combination of this makes you look old and tired. So, sleep more!


5) Clean

Keep your face clean. Wash your face twice a day. Go easy on skin care products because too much is harmful. All the dirt, dust and foreign substances on your face may make your facial skin dry, clogged up and irritated. Get rid of them when you get home after a long day. Do not sleep with your make-up on because it will damage your skin.
